About Craig Allan TeichRead Craig's Blog Craig is a businessman with 25+ years experience in a wide range of industries. He's also a writer, designer, lifelong athlete, fitness and nutrition expert, occasional coach to elite athletes, husband to a beautiful wife and father of two amazing daughters. Craig's business career is highlighted by a series of start-ups buffered by more traditional jobs in finance, investment banking, and management consulting. But his passion has always been, and remains, creating new businesses, whether it be in technology, real estate, health and fitness, nutraceuticals, medicine, telecommunications, marketing, publishing, beverages or restaurants. Along with participating directly in numerous new ventures, Craig has consulted with many growing companies, advising on brand positioning, marketing strategy, process automation, scalability, and Business Model Redesigns (BMR's). BMR's are among the MadFun Consulting core services, and are perfect for companies looking to gain market share, improve profitability, better leverage technology, and streamline operations. Craig studied at Tulane University where he focused on English, literature and history; Washington University’s John M. Olin School of Business where he graduated with honors in Finance and English, and was a winner of the Olin Cup; and the London School of Economics where he completed a program in International Finance and Economics. In the middle of all this college stuff, Craig took “off” a few years to make an Olympic campaign in hopes of attaining a spot on the 1988 US Road Cycling Team. Though he failed to make the final team, he succeeded in mastering a sport he continues to enjoy today while racing on some of the most beautiful roads in the world with some of the greatest teammates for which one could hope. Through his athletic experiences, Craig became an expert in elite training principals, extreme nutrition, hyper-effective learning, and is where he first began to form the theories which have helped evolve into the foundation of MadFun's business principals. Subsequently, Craig has helped train athletes and entrepreneurs from Olympic Medalists and Wimbledon Champions to Fortune 500 CEO's. Applying the same core philosophies to business, Craig has made a scientific study over the past 20 years of discovering and systematizing the critical systems and actions which make a business soar or flounder. He has developed an expertise in being able to quickly analyze business models, branding, marketing and sales systems, personnel, incentive systems, financial structure, and the intangibles to quickly determine how to improve a business’s bottom line and long-term viability. Craig loves to help businesses and entrepreneurs succeed beyond their own aspirations. He thrives on helping business owners enjoy their businesses and their lives more. And he loves the challenge of helping a business reach is true potential. He and the team at MadFun Marketing will love the opportunity to help you and your business in any way possible.
